Liam's e-portfolio
Greetings!
My name is Liam Olsen, and I'm 15 years old. With luck, I'll be heading to Grade 10 next year at Carson Graham Secondary.
Born and raised in Vancouver, I am an only child, and only Grandchild in the family. Being the sole youngster in the family offers two advantages; one, you get a lot of attention, and two, that attention translates into being dragged along wherever and whenever the grown ups go somewhere. This makes me un-ordinarily well travelled for a person my age; I have visited all the continents except Antarctica, and spent most of Grade 8 studying in Hong Kong. This does not mean I explore solely abroad, I also enjoy a vast array of outdoor activities, such as Hiking, Biking, Skiing, and Canoeing to name a few.
Aside from burning jet fuel and crashing around in the bush, my chief interests now a days are generally confined to politics, photography (most images on this site are mine), trumpet, and last but not least, school! Bonding with my family and friends are definitely the favorites though. Hiking and philosophizing with my father, attaining practical life skills from my stepfather, conversing in mandarin with my mother, and living an international lifestyle thanks to my stepmother. These fine people are show me what I ought to become, while my friends remind me not to grow old too quickly. They remind of perhaps the most important consideration in life; what are we without our loved ones?
